Support for Children & Young Persons in Supported Accommodation

We support children or young persons with learning difficulties in their quest to live independently or a supporting living accommodation. Their dream can become a reality with the right support. We are experts in assisting people with learning difficulties, complicated needs, and challenging behavior.
We work closely with individual, their family, and carers to provide and achieve the goals that are essential to them, such as developing independent living skills, managing and maintaining their houses, and becoming involved in their local communities.

These services are frequently used by people who are transitioning out of residential care or higher support housing arrangements. They want to help clients improve their independence and living abilities in a secure, encouraging environment.

We can also provide support for people in their own homes by visiting and floating support services. Customers may live in various types of accommodations and have diverse degrees of needs, including physical and sensory demands.

Registered Care

We offer a variety of care regulated services to support persons with learning difficulties and other special needs. Physical and sensory limitations, long-term ailments, and mental health needs. We can also help with medicine, both in our care homes and through our other regulated services.

Homelessness and Complex Needs

We provide tailored support to people in need in our communities, many of whom have complicated needs, including domestic abuse. People who come to us may have needs related to their mental health, substance abuse, or physical health. Many will have histories of abuse and profound trauma, while others may have histories of rough sleeping, failed relationships, or criminal activity.

Assessment Centers

These provide short-term, intense help to people who have been referred to us by local authorities and may have been rough sleeping or homeless. Our specialists assist them in identifying and evaluating their housing support needs, providing short-term support interventions, and uncovering suitable solutions for moving on.

Supported Housing

The majority of the people we serve with receive assistance through our supported housing services. This comprises floating support services and hostels with accommodations.

Services for domestic violence

These specialized programs assist families, men, and women who are frequently extremely vulnerable and have faced serious risks. Many people will have gone through severe trauma, such as domestic abuse or sexual, physical, or economic exploitation.

We provide sensitive, compassionate, and inclusive services in accordance with the principles of trauma-informed care.

Crisis Prevention

At Micalice, our Crisis Prevention Team specialises in providing crucial emergency cover for individuals facing crises. Our primary goal is to avert unnecessary hospital admissions, secure unit placements, and service disruptions that often result in inappropriate care settings, bed shortages, and heightened security unit escalations.
We are committed to offering a reliable solution that prioritises the needs of service users, ensuring consistent care and preventing interruptions.
Our dedicated team comprises highly skilled professionals well-versed in supporting individuals with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Highly Complex Behaviours and mental health challenges. All our staff employ a PBS (Positive Behavior Support) approach, leveraging their extensive knowledge to provide optimal care.
Operating round-the-clock, our 24-hour service ensures readiness to tackle any situation, anytime. We are here to provide steadfast support and ensure the continuous well-being of those in crisis.
Our collaboration extends to working closely with various teams, including Integrated Care Boards (ICBs) and Local Authorities (Councils). We actively engage in supporting educational needs, offering direct collaboration with a young person’s SENCO officers. We also partner with CAMHS (Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services) and Social Care teams, fostering a holistic approach to support that spans home, school, and the wider community.
